Here are 10 easy and affordable ways to update your home for spring:

  1. Add pops of color: Swap out your winter decor for brighter and more vibrant colors. Think pastel shades, bright yellows, and greens to bring a fresh and cheerful touch to your home.

  2. Bring in fresh flowers: Nothing says spring like fresh flowers. Add a vase of tulips, daffodils or cherry blossoms to your living spaces to bring in a bit of nature's beauty.

  3. Update your bedding: Swap out your heavy winter comforter for a lighter quilt or duvet cover in a bright, cheerful color to give your bedroom a spring refresh.

  4. Add outdoor elements: Bring the outside in by adding outdoor elements like wicker baskets, sisal rugs, and rattan furniture. These natural textures are perfect for spring and will give your home a fresh, relaxed look.

  5. Switch up your curtains: Trade in your heavy winter curtains for something light and flowy. Sheer curtains or light-colored drapes will help bring more natural light into your home and create an airy feel.

  6. Create a spring centerpiece: A simple spring centerpiece can instantly update your dining table. Try a vase of fresh flowers, a bowl of lemons or limes, or a collection of colorful candles.

  7. Add some greenery: Bring the outdoors in by adding some greenery to your home. Houseplants like spider plants, snake plants, and peace lilies are easy to care for and add a touch of spring to any room.

  8. Update your throw pillows: Switch out your winter throw pillows for something lighter and brighter. Look for pillows in pastel shades or with floral prints to bring a bit of spring to your living room.

  9. Hang some art: Refresh your walls with some new art that reflects the season. Try prints of flowers or landscapes for a touch of springtime charm.
